How to Use Your derma roller

Derma rolling is best done at night time as you will most likely experience some redness immediately after rolling. First time users, please start with just a few rolls on each part of your face and neck, do not overdo it. and please always be gentle with your skin, Once you are used to derma rolling, you can increase the time you spend on each area to a maximum of around 10 rolls 

1. Cleanse Your Skin: Start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser like our Take it all off cleansing Balm to remove all makeup, dirt, and oils from your skin.
2. Prepare Your Skin: Apply a serum such as our Hyaluronic B5 serum 50ml – Flowerdale Valley before rolling 
3. Rolling Technique:
   • Forehead: Roll vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. Repeat each motion 2-3 times, avoiding the eye area. roll your eyebrows as well!
   • Cheeks: Follow the same pattern, rolling from the center of your face outward. vertically, horizontally and diagonally
   • Chin, neck and Jawline: Roll vertically, horizontally, and diagonally along your jawline and chin and neck area.
   • Lips can be rolled very lightly 
   • Avoid eye area 
4. Post-Rolling Care: After rolling, apply a soothing serum or moisturizer such as our Botanical Biome Overnight Cream – Flowerdale Valley to nourish your skin. 
5. Clean the Derma Roller:  Pour boiling water over the barrel of your derma roller to disinfect after each use, air dry. Store it in its protective case. Ispropyl alcohol wipes or spray be used instead of boiling water.
